On April 23, 1791, James Buchanan was born in Cove Gap, Pennsylvania. He was the fifteenth president of the United States, and served in office from 1857 to 1861. Buchanan graduated from college when he was only 18! He was the only president who never married. He died on June 1, 1868, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
